That is EXACTLY what I am saying (Instagram specifically)!
I don't know if I'm the only one new to this but, I'm definitely sticking around for it because I love the idea of thrifting online.
Don't get me wrong, I love the experience you get with thrifting at different stores and going to antique malls. It's like a treasure hunt and there is so much history in each object. I could spend hours at an antique store or thrift store, looking at all the vintage products and I definitely have! But, I still get the same feeling when I am scrolling through thrift accounts on Instagram!
I will definitely still be thrifting in person, but I love thrifting online too now! It is like a more refined treasure hunt because these business owners have found the best of the best and have it all in the same place. I have bought a few things from my friend's Instagram thrift page @chelseafound. If you are located in Tucson or AZ definitely check out her stuff (all photos are taken and styled by Chelsea West)! Unfortunately, I have them stored away at my mom's house for the time being, but I cannot wait to use these and style these pieces.
I see more of these thrift pages being created and become more and more popular and I think it is amazing! I am all about renewing and reusing especially when it comes to clothes and furniture, and home goods. So I love how putting this online makes it accessible for even more people.
