Valentine's day is in a week, but before we get focused on making our significant other feel loved and special, let's not forget about our GIRLS!
Gal-entines is such a fun and sweet way to celebrate your gal pals! I was blessed enough to have some here in San Diego that wanted to throw a brunch for just us girls. We delegated tasks like food, drinks, and decor (can you guess what I jumped to do?) It was an all hands on deck affair!
I made a cute DIY photo backdrop and brought my polaroid to capture their lovely face and treasure the memories.
The inspiration was boho valentines, so I knew I'd need to tie in some natural elements. This was an easy and inexpensive way to add something special to the brunch. All I did was get some envelopes, faux greenery, wire lights, and my DIY grapefruit garland. All the supplies bought for this were $1-2 each (except for the wire lights).
If you are curious about the grapefruit garland I made an orange garland over the holidays, which was a similar process I just used different fruit and wooden ball accents to help it fit the mood of our brunch! The only difference this time was that I used my oven rather than my air fryer. This took about 5 hours at 200 degrees but I was able to do a much bigger batch this time.
I hope you enjoyed reading about some of these DIYs! Whether you are celebrating with your gals, your boys, or your honey I hope you are inspired to be creative in the ways you express your love for others this coming Valentine's Day. Let me know how you plan to celebrate those around you with love?
That is a wonderfully beautiful Valentine decor! Thanks for posting and letting us see your work friends and YOU of course! Love, GMa Sally
