Cold Brew All Day Any Day

If you're a coffee fanatic like me this is a must read! There is nothing like an iced coffee on a warm, sunny day. To be honest there is nothing like an iced coffee on a cold day either; iced coffee is good all day any day! In college I would drink up to 3-4 cups of iced coffee a day and that adds up pretty fast. Now that I don't have the luxury of having a coffee shop downstairs from my room or a meal plan, It has been hard to find a way to recreate that delicious taste I love so much. For some reason hot coffee is just not the same for me and hot coffee put in the fridge did not work either. If you have the same love for coffee like I do, look into a Cold Brew Maker! It has seriously changed the homemade coffee game for me! I like It just as much as going out to buy coffee and that says A LOT.

Now I'm pretty new to making my own coffee that I actually like so I'm no expert on brands or types of cold brew makers, but this is ours. It's only $11.19 on Amazon right now, which is such a steal! Imagine what it cost for one drink, roughly $4-5 and this fills up about 5 of our cups with room for cream! You can do the math!

I just talked a lot about coffee, but I love be some tea too! Usually I take my tea hot, but if i'm every in the mood for something refreshing I can always substitute my coffee grounds for loose leaf tea.

It's so easy to use, which is another reason why I love it! You take the filter out and fill it with your coffee grounds or loose leaf tea, about 16 tbsps (almost to the top, just leave a little room). You put it back into the cold brew maker and pour your cold water over it until the pitcher is full. Just pour it slowly, my impatient self has had to clean up a few unnecessary messes! Then you stir the blend in the filter, that's why you want to leave some room in the filter. Then let it sit from 12-24 hours in the refrigerator. I recommend the 24 hours to get all the richness from the coffee or tea! Also keep in mind the coffee grounds you are using; there are specific cold brew blends that I personally think are better for this processes. We use the Stone Street dark blend, which is delicious! Another thing I love about ours is that it fits perfectly in the door of the fridge so it doesn't take up to much space.

It's great when you get into a rhythm when brewing because you can get 5 glasses out of a pitcher, which should last any normal personal a couple days (for me and my hubby it's one day). Then in the meantime you can already be brewing your next pitcher!

Did I mention it's super easy to clean as well? I mean if that doesn't put you over the top I'm not sure what else will.

The cups are mason jars I got from Walmart! I think they were $10 for a pack of 12!
